The Taste and the Race are the perfect outings for the whole family!
Join us in celebrating 28 years of culinary excellence, local flavors, and community spirit while supporting a fantastic cause! This year’s Taste of St. Augustine will be EPIC, with more exciting activities planned. Start your day with Race to the Taste, a 5K run or walk, and then get ready to savor delicious dishes from more than 20 local food trucks and restaurants. Enjoy live entertainment from Big Papa Fish and Bad Dog Momma, capture memories at the 360-photo booth, and have fun with games, face painting, and prizes in the expanded Kid Zone thanks to Ready Set Play indoor playground!
Try your luck with a 50/50 raffle! Don’t miss the ever-popular People’s Choice Awards, where you can vote for your favorite restaurant or food truck. We’ve heard a rumor that a mocktail contest may be added to the competition this year — Brian Flanagan from the movie “Cocktail” would be proud!

Celebrating St. Augustine’s Food Culture
Everyone likes to eat! The Taste of St. Augustine highlights the culinary heritage and culture of St. Johns County by showcasing new restaurants and established favorites. Sample our local cuisine and learn about our area’s food culture!
When you first arrive at the Taste, you will be greeted with the sights, sounds and delectable aromas from an eclectic mix of St. Augustine restaurants – from the casual to the upscale. As you pay your $10 admission (children admitted free and free parking), you will receive a map which indicates the participating restaurants, their location at the Taste and the dish(es) they are serving. You will buy Taste Tickets at the event that are $1 each. Restaurants will charge between 1-5 tickets for their dish. This will allow you to make a plan for your culinary exploration!
There will be a FREE children’s area too! The children’s area will include fun activities such as face painting and arts/crafts!
There will be a free shuttle running from RB Hunt Elementary School to the Amphitheatre. Parking will also be available at the Elks Lodge (just south of Amphitheatre).
The Amphitheater does not allow dogs inside the venue.

Bad Dog Mama | 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ask anyone in the music scene about St. Augustine, Florida’s Bad Dog Mama and the answer will always be the same – they bring the house down. This female duo highlights the power of harmonies, percussive rhythm, and dynamic choice of song.
Chelsea Saddler plays guitar, and Lauren Gilliam plays bass, and the women alternate lead vocals. They are truly organic in their love for music and are masters at pulling in a crowd to their world of sound. Their body of original work seems as endless as their cover setlist, which includes artists from The Talking Heads, Prince, and Nancy Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Amy Winehouse, and The Killers.
Big Papa Fish | 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We are excited to welcome back the high-energy trio, Big Papa Fish, this year! They deliver a refreshing take on the blues with their powerful original songs and new interpretations of beloved classics. Each member brings decades of experience: Ace Winn serves as the lead singer, bass player, and frontman; Marshall Baily is the talented guitarist; and Will Neal takes charge on drums. Together, they have performed with various acts across the U.S. and around the world.

In addition to “The Taste”, we are hosting a family-friendly 5K race. This race is a run/walk event meant for everyone!
The event starts at the Amphitheatre at 10:30 am and runs through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhoods.

Join us for the Taste of St. Augustine 50/50 raffle, which benefits EPIC Behavioral Healthcare! Half of the funds raised will support essential mental health and substance use programs. Tickets are available online or at the event, and there are discounts for purchasing multiple tickets.
This is a great opportunity to help individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges while also having a chance to win an exciting prize—50% of the total amount raised!

Participation Rules:
50/50 Raffle tickets can be purchased using cash or a debit card. State law does not allow credit cards. All participants must clearly print their legal name, phone number, and email address on the ticket. No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter. ELIGIBILITY: At the time of entry, entrants must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdictions of residence (and at least eighteen [18] years of age). EPIC Behavioral Healthcare has the right to request photo identification from anyone desiring to enter the Raffle. The Raffle is void where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation. Prize source is from ticket sales. Entrants do not need to be present to win. However, the winner must present their ticket or a valid ID to claim their winnings within 24 hours. If the winner is not available during the Facebook broadcast, they have 30 days to collect their winnings at 1400 Old Dixie Hwy, St. Augustine, FL 32084. If the winnings are not claimed within this timeframe, they will be donated to EPIC Behavioral Healthcare.
